The Garde Hvalsøe showroom in Aarhus is like a 600 sqm time machine, transporting you back to 1898, to a Renaissance building, but with a twist … With six different rooms, including a kitchen and bathroom, spread across two levels, New York-based interior design firm Bunn Studio has created a space that will make you feel more at home in a luxurious apartment than in a showroom.

What is the aesthetic of the brand?

The showroom’s design, inspired by the layout of a classic American high-end apartment, creates a mellow and laid-back atmosphere that invites guests to slow down, take a breath and become aware of the details that characterise Garde Hvalsøe furniture. The design team leverages natural light to create this atmosphere, using dark chocolate brown walls to make the space feel more intimate and domestic and adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
