The Norrbotten province is located in the northernmost part of Sweden and is known for its vast landscapes, rugged wilderness and unique cultural heritage. The province is home to the largest national park in Sweden, Sarek National Park, and it’s also known for its abundance of wildlife including reindeer, elk and a variety of birds. The province has a long history of indigenous cultures, such as the Sami people, and their traditional way of life is still visible today in the form of traditional clothing, music and art. The largest cities in Norrbotten are Luleå, Piteå and Skellefteå.
