Green Solution House, located on the outskirts of Bornholm’s largest town Rønne, is much more than your average hotel. Entering the hotel, which is designed by Danish architectural practice 3XN, is like stepping foot in an innovative, forward-thinking experimental lab where guests can experience what it is like to live in a fully sustainable world without waste. All materials used in the building are either fully recyclable or biodegradable, solar power is used as the property’s energy source and algae are used to clean the sewage water. The property received a brand-new tree-storey addition in 2022 that has an eye-catching terrace and spa on the top floor.

Located along the coast between Gudhjem and Tejn, Stammershalle Badehotel is just on the coast of Bornholm. This bright yellow building stands out amongst the typical white badehoteller and offers a unique experience with its scenic location near the rocky coastline, lovely rooms, and unique light. Visitors can take a refreshing dip in the sea just 150 meters from the hotel and enjoy views of the Baltic and Christiansø Island in the distance. The hotel’s gourmet restaurant is unique, too, with its friendly staff serving delicious modern dishes made from Bornholm ingredients and produce. The wine cellar beneath the lounge is also a great spot to enjoy a drink after a meal. The current owner and manager Frederik Falbe continue to uphold the original ethos of the venue, focused on visitors’ preferences, intimacy and pleasant experiences in a delightful atmosphere that will create happy memories.
