Kuro Oslo is a new minimalist-style cafe located on the lower end of Grünerløkka, run by the family behind the clothing store F5. Though small and intimate, the cafe offers seating outside and a bright minimalist aesthetic that makes it feel spacious. The café offers a variety of coffee options including house coffee or hand-brewed seasonal options. They also offer classics such as caffè latte, flat white, and cappuccino, as well as iced coffee and cold drinks. They also serve sandwiches from Eckers, a local deli.

Hot Temper is a new fried chicken restaurant in Oslo, which is helmed by chefs from Mucho Mas and ex-Way Down South. They might very well have the best fried chicken in all of Oslo, which is available for take-out and online orders only, but with plans for in-house service in the near future.
