Lillebrors Bageri

Lillebrors Bageri is one of our personal favourites. The tiny bakery has a huge appeal. Famous for its 27-layer buttery croissants, the krämbulle and juicy cardamom buns, Lillebrors never fails to impress. These signature pastries, combined with their seasonal semlor, make every visit a treat. And if they have it, do get the toscabulle, a cardamom bun topped with caramel-coated nuts. The bakery’s cosy atmosphere, accentuated by its rustic wooden counter, offers a warm, inviting ambience. Tössebageriet has been a cornerstone of Stockholm’s baking scene for over a century. Located on Karlavägen in Östermalm, this historic bakery is known for its traditional Swedish cakes, pastries and the famed semla. A more recent invention, the “semmelwrap,” a creative spin on the classic Swedish seasonal staple semla (google it!), has made waves across the city since its conception back in 2015. Whether stopping by for a fresh sandwich or indulging in their classic desserts, Tösse’s old-world charm and consistent high quality keep it as relevant today as when it opened.
