A Day’s March
In the fall of 2022, the Swedish fashion brand A Day’s March, known for its durable everyday fashion staples, opened the doors to its third Stockholm store on Odengatan. The 230 sq m store has been designed and decorated by co-founder and creative director Pelle Lundquist in close collaboration with interior architect Daniel Braconier. The checkerboard floors are inspired by the building’s staircases and the new arched window now looks like it did when the property was built in 1909.

Our Legacy
Scandinavian cool is embodied by Stockholm-based brand Our Legacy. Custom-developed fabrics, minimalist silhouettes and textures, coupled with their own spin on timeless design staples, have earned them a global fan base. Swedish architecture studio Arrhov Frick designed the minimalist retail space in Stockholm, which opened in 2015. With a mix of concrete, acrylic, stainless steel, and wood, the space is primarily made of concrete.

Nitty Gritty
Nitty Gritty is an independent multi-brand retailer, online store and showroom located on Krukmakargatan. It opened in 1991 as a backlash to all the big clothing chains that dominated the retail scene in the early 1990s. The store was one of the first independent stores in Stockholm to bring in a mix of brands – Barena Venezia, Aspesi, Bode, and Comme des Garçons, to name a few – to offer alternative fashion to Stockholmers. Nitty Gritty has also initiated ‘Art in store’, in which contemporary art exhibitions are installed in the Södermalm space.
