Ergo

In a city where fine dining often leans on formality, Ergo offers a different proposition: precision without pretension. Opened in 2024 on Artillerigatan in Östermalm, it occupies the former Gastrologik space but forgoes the hushed reverence of its predecessor. Chef Petter Johansson, whose résumé includes stints at Gordon Ramsay in London, Per Se in New York, and Frantzén in Stockholm, leads the kitchen. His menu is a five-course seasonal tasting, each course offering two options—like yellowtail amberjack with fennel and gooseberry, or beef tenderloin with silver eel and scallion. The wine program, curated by General Manager and sommelier Lars Trogen, complements the cuisine with selections from both renowned and emerging producers.
