The Nordics • Eat & drink • Miyakodori in Stockholm, Sweden
Miyakodori is an izakaya – a Japanese-style gastro pub – where you can get a drink, some food, and make new acquaintances in a relaxed and buzzy atmosphere. Miyakodori was founded by Max Westerlund Inazawa, John Forsell, and Lars Brennwald, three chefs and food enthusiasts who have worked together for many years at Frantzén, Adam/Albin, Lux, AG and Rolf’s Kök. The restaurant is the trio’s interpretation of Miyakodori in Kawasaki, Japan, a third-generation yakitori izakaya that opened in the 1950s and where Westerlund Inazawa worked for many years.
