Fun fact: their collaboration began in 2020 with a line of café uniforms. Typical offerings include single-origin coffees and artisanal pastries, making it a must-visit in Copenhagen’s fashion district​​.

April Coffee, situated in Copenhagen’s Østerbro district, is a haven for coffee enthusiasts. Founded by Patrik Rolf, a finalist in the 2023 World Barista Championship, April Coffee is dedicated to roasting the highest quality beans, ensuring masterpiece cups of coffee. The minimalist decor, designed in collaboration with A. Petersen, creates a serene environment for enjoying their offerings, which include espresso, filter coffee and canelés baked by Omegn og Venner. April Coffee also features a unique selection of merchandise and brewing equipment​​. April can be found in a few different locations in Copenhagen, but our personal favourite is this one on Ryesgade.

Despite its modest 20-square-metre size, the café brims with style and atmosphere, making it a must-visit. The menu features all the classics, from espresso to flat white, each brewed with care, bordering on nerdiness, including daily water quality checks. The decor is simple and functional, perfectly complementing the café’s focus on quality coffee. Fun fact: the café’s name and music reflect Lucas’s love for hip hop, creating a unique and lively environment​.

Original Coffee Store Kongensgade

Original Coffee at Store Kongensgade is a gem in Copenhagen, offering meticulously crafted coffee made from locally roasted beans by Kontra Coffee. The café is situated in a light-filled 1800s building with high ceilings and arched windows, designed by Space Between to blend classic and contemporary styles. The menu features espresso, filter coffee and plant-based options, alongside baked goods from their organic bakery in the Meatpacking District. The inviting atmosphere includes multiple seating zones and a coffee lab for training and events. This location is particularly charming, overlooking the historic Nyboder row houses​.
